Privacy
RollBounce is a browser game currently in playtesting. This page explains exactly what the game records while you play, which is deliberately little.
What is recorded
To learn whether the game is fun enough to keep playing, the game sends anonymous play statistics to our server:
- when a session starts, and when a run starts and ends
- run score, best combo, run length and what ended the run
- screen size, pixel density and platform type (for example
WebGLPlayer) - which version of the game you loaded
- when the page is hidden or closed, so abandoned runs can be counted
- a random session identifier that exists only in this browser tab and is discarded when the tab closes
- the two-letter country code our hosting provider attaches to the request
What is not recorded
- no IP address is stored
- no cookies, no advertising or cross-site identifiers, no browser fingerprint
- no name, email address, wallet address or other account data
- no persistent identifier: returning to the game tomorrow is a new anonymous session
Stored on your device
Your high score and settings (such as reduced flashing and audio volume) are saved in your browser's local storage so they survive a reload. They never leave your device. Clearing site data removes them.
Accounts, leaderboards and wallets
The playtest build does not offer accounts, online leaderboards or wallet connection. If those features return, this page will be updated first.
Hosting
The game and its statistics endpoint are served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes connection data (including IP addresses) to deliver the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy; we do not receive or store that data.
Retention and contact
Play statistics are kept for the duration of the playtest and analysed only in aggregate. Questions about this page can be sent to Von Base Enterprises via vonbase.com.
